End of the Line for Kawasaki Z550

Posted: 13th Oct 2008

PCSOs with destroyed motor cycleFollowing complaints of a motor cycle being used in an anti social manner on the roads in their area the Fakenham and Wells Safer Neighbourhood Teams carried out observations.

The reports related to a Kawasaki Z 550 motor cycle that was being ridden in an anti social manner completing continuous laps of roads, revving engine, riding without helmet.

The vehicle was subsequently found minus rider on the Wells Road and seized.

Enquiries into the Kawasaki Z550 found it to be on false plates, uninsured, it was registered as being off road, enquiries to trace the owner were negative as he had moved and could not be traced.

The motor cycle was chopped up at Anglia Recovery Fakenham Industrial Estate at 3pm on Tuesday 14th October 2008.

The two officers survey the remains of the motor cycle that will not be involved in anti social or criminal activity in the future, this  demonstrate the positive action that is being taken by the Fakenham and Wells Safer Neighbourhood Teams to combat the problems of vehicles being used in an anti social behaviour.
